Fujitsu have a permanent opportunity for a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager. You will be working on IT infrastructure projects of various sizes and complexities on multiple customers of Fujitsu. This will be an onsite role where you will drive the end to end management of these projects covering the deliverables, financials, assessing the risk, managing resources and tracking the projects key milestones.

  • Managing activities of medium to large complexity projects or stages of a project
  • Interface with the Customer for issue resolution, status updates and project activities
  • Establish a clear baseline for the project before work commences
  • Proactive management of project risks and issues throughout the delivery life cycle including conducting formal risk assessments
  • Ensure project objectives are met by monitoring and measuring project progress against the baseline and identifying variances so that corrective action is taken
  • Manages the project Profit & Loss, budget, monitoring all costs and providing current and forecast reports for revenues, costs and invoices
  • Perform Project Assurance such as planned project audits and implement effective quality assurance and control procedures to ensure the project quality objectives are met
  • Project reporting and communications to the Customer and Fujitsu management
  • Participates in presales activities such as scoping, estimating and sizing, costing and budgeting, risk assessment, and proposal/Statement of Work preparation and negotiations
  • Manage project establishment activities such as organisation of facilities and resources, project plan and quality plan definition, project audit plan and schedule, project library set-up
  • Ensure project planning activities are completed such that the project requirements, scope, deliverables and acceptance criteria are clearly defined, documented and agreed with the customer
  • Establish and maintain up to date work breakdown structures, project plans, schedules and progress measurements with reference to the project baseline
  • Liaise and build a rapport with the customer, any third parties and Fujitsu management
  • Identify new opportunities for Fujitsu

What Do We Want From You?


  • Tertiary level education or equivalent
  • Several years’ proven Project Management experience in the IT field
  • Experience in the end to end delivery of IT Infrastructure projects
  • Experience in managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Proven proficiency in management of projects with medium to large complexity
  • Good knowledge of financial management (Accrual Accounting, Forecasting) and general business management
  • Certification; PMI’s Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or PRINCE2 or equivalent
  • Proficient with MS Project
  • Experience in building effective relationships with customers and management
  • Ability to manage and lead a team of approximately 5-10 resources
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and cost targets without compromising customer requirements
