What's On Offer?

To manage the ITIL Change and Release Management Life Cycle in an IT Infrastructure environment. You will be responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of Change and Release into customer environments, in accordance with Fujitsu's ITIL and ISO framework. You may also be required to lead a small team of Change and Release Coordinators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the on time delivery of all Change and Release Process outputs
  • Accountable for customer satisfaction as it relates to delivery of release to agreed SLA
  • Set customer expectation for the delivery of ITIL Change and Release requirements
  • Provides process input and governs by coordinating and facilitating the delivery of all phases of the Change and Release lifecycle
  • Responsible for providing resourcing and cost estimations where bid work requires
  • Provides valued input into the definition and improvement of best practice
  • Provides input into process solutions that reduce costs and improve efficiency
  • Keeps Release documentation current and in line with Fujitsu Change and Release best practice
  • Produces Post Change and Release Reviews to identify improvements to process and procedure
  • Acts as an escalation point for other release roles to improve service/SLAs
  • Acts as a team player and may mentor to support and improve the skills of colleagues/direct reports
  • Provides Change and Release statistics as agreed within the contract to the customer
  • Assists Senior staff, Team Manager and National manager in the delivery and improvement of services

What Do We Want From You?

Experience/Qualifications

  • Must have NV1 Clearance or higher
  • Proven experience in a Change and Release Management corporate environment minimum 2 years
  • ITIL V3 Foundation certification or higher
  • University Graduate in associated discipline preferred
  • Technical management experience
  • Superior analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to make decisions and carry out result to customer satisfaction
  • Presentation reporting and management of Customer Change and Release Management Meetings and Post Release Reviews (PRR)
  • Must be self-motivated, able to take ownership of the release management process and ensure it is maintained throughout the organisation
  • Must have high level negotiation skills
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision, meet deadlines and be accountable
  • Ensure Quality and Technical Assurance across the Change Management process
