WHAT'S ON OFFER

This is a very people-oriented role and involves taking a proactive approach to how we resolve issues to ensure we meet service levels for our clients. Analysing Problem Cases raised from Incident Trending and known errors within the client's IT infrastructure, you will proactively identify Root Cause Solutions allowing for a stable environment with minimal impact to the customer, and a reduction of incidents to the Fujitsu Service Desk.

You will manage Problem Management Service Delivery to the Customer, including the presentation of reports as well as interacting directly with both the client and Fujitsu staff during the process of investigating and implementing solutions. You will never be alone in this role, but you will independently be responsible for ensuring all proposed solutions are reviewed, authorised by the Customer and Service Delivery Manager and updated on the Problem Management system. You'll also work closely with our client to ensure accuracy and quality of reports both to the client and to Fujitsu.

The ideal candidate for this role will currently be in a similar Problem Management team in another company, or will have held a similar IT Service Support Management role for the past 3 years, having previously worked on the 'front-line' as an IT Service Desk Analyst. It will be a person who prides themselves on the accuracy of their reports and on their ability to own problems and successfully see to their resolution.

This is a one year contract starting as soon as possible.

 

 WHAT DO WE WANT FROM YOU?

 To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • 3 years of experience in IT Operational Support: Problem, Incident, Change & Transition Management
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative people skills for working with clients & 3rd parties
  • Excellent Analytical and Reporting skills
  • Solid understanding of ITIL and an exposure to ITIL Problem Management processes (ITIL Certifications preferable)
