WHAT'S ON OFFER?

Due to increased growth, Fujitsu Federal Government Region is seeking Enhanced Desktop Support Analyst’s for full-time permanent opportunities based in Canberra. In these roles candidates will be primarily responsible for incident troubleshooting support within the SOE125, Windows 7, Windows 10, CITRIX and Outlook/Exchange environments. These roles will have KPI requirements in regards to knowledge and bring to front activities including automation for improving the customer experience.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Application support and high level technical incident troubleshooting support.
  • Liaison with internal, regional and national support areas as part of determining resolution for more complex technical issues.
  • Recommending improvements in processes to support consistent and best-practice delivery of business outcomes and reduce inefficiencies and variances.
  • Manage, assist and provide advice to staff for resolving and/or providing workarounds to incidents.
  • Manage the creation and modification of knowledge articles on key processes, customer applications and systems that can be used across the service desk and wider community of IT support staff.
  • Provide ongoing technical support to customers and handle incident resolution activities.
  • Mentoring and guidance of junior staff members.

WHAT DO WE WANT FROM YOU?

We are looking for a candidate with the ability to work to deadlines and changing priorities in a busy IT services environment. You will be able to prioritise and manage personal workloads whilst achieving both Fujitsu and customer objectives.

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience and knowledge in the following:

  • Expertise in one or more of the following fields:
    • SOE125
    • Windows 7
    • Windows 10
    • CITRIX
    • Outlook/Exchange
  • High level technical experience in:
    • Outlook/Exchange administration;
    • CITRIX administration;
    • Server administration;
    • Network administration;
  • Experience in providing Windows 7 and Windows 10 technical support;
  • Experience in Thin and Thick client end user support ;
  • Experience in providing remote support for software and hardware;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead small teams of staff to achieve a common goal;
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and mentor junior team members.
  • Demonstrated understanding of ITIL principals;
  • Ability to liaise with multiple vendors, customers and stakeholders at a technical level;
  • Ability to respond to client enquiries promptly, courteously and efficiently;
  • High level written and verbal communication skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team environment;
  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative and be able to manage time and workload effectively;
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritise;
  • Demonstrated ability to follow instructions to completion.
