Customer Service Engineer - Immediate Start

We are looking for an experienced IT Support person who can start almost immediately. Based from our central Hamilton office, you will provide Field Support to our corporate clients. While the focus will be on desktops, servers and printers, you will need to have a wide IT knowledge and understanding, and the flexibility to adapt and put your hand to what is required to meet our clients' needs.  The position will include a mix of  break / fix and project work.

Please note - we are interested in applications from Waikato residents only at this point. 


To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Previous proven experience in an IT support role for at least 2 years.
  • Knowledge of, and hands-on practical experience with Windows Operating Systems (to server level), server, desktop and laptop hardware, as well as printers and other peripherals.
  • Knowledge of  LAN or WAN Networking, and applications such as MS Office, Outlook / Exchange, and Citrix would also be an advantage
  • Advanced customer service skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and team skills
  • Self motivation
  • Strengths and ability in punctuality, time management, presentation and administration
  • Current Driver's License
  • An IT qualification is preferred
  • Immediate availability
